Sonamarg: Where Golden Meadows and Majestic Peaks Meet
Welcome to Kashmir. On arrival, you will be greeted by Trek Valley Travels representative / Company driver and transferred to hotel in Sonamarg, check into the hotel and later in afternoon, sightseeing of the renowned Thajiwas Glacier. Rest of the evening will be free for leisure. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Journey Through Valor: Sonamarg to Kargil via Drass War Memorial:
After breakfast leave for Kargil, by visiting Baltal Valley, Zero Point, Cross Zojila pass, Drass Village(2nd Coldest Inhabited place in the World). Enroute have a magnificent view of Kargil War Famous Peaks(Tiger, Tololing) and reach Kargil by evening. Overnight Hotel in Kargil.
Beyond Boundaries: The Epic Voyage from Kargil to Leh:
Morning after Breakfast leave for Leh, enroute visit Mulbek (Giant Living Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountain), Fotila Pass and Namkila Pass, Lamayuru (the oldest Monastery of Ladakh) and Moon Landscape. Arrive Leh enroute visit Magnetic Hill, cover confluence of Indus and Zanskar River near Nimoo, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and Hall of Fame. Reach Leh by Evening. Overnight Hotel.
Recharge and Reflect: A Restful Day in Ladakh:
An important factor during Ladakh Trip is acclimatization. Acclimatization refers to getting used to high altitude conditions when you are traveling around destinations in Ladakh. You should at least spend first night in Leh to getting used to the conditions.
Crossing Horizons: From Leh to the Enchanting Nubra Valley:
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla pass (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Straight drive to Turtuk village for a full day sightseeing, newly introduced for tourists in Leh where you can enjoy camel Safari in Sand Dunes with the famous Double Humped Bacterian Camel safari in Hunder and then. Later Overnight in Organic Camping at Hunder Village.
From Nubra Valley's Heart to Hunder's Sands: An Oasis of Adventure:
After breakfast, Depart from your accommodation in Nubra Valley towards Hunder, a journey of approximately 2 hours. En route, enjoy the picturesque landscapes and stop for photographs. After arriving Hunder, Visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery in the Nubra Valley. Explore the impressive Maitreya Buddha statue, offering stunning views of the valley. Later check-in at your camp or guesthouse in Hunder, enjoy a traditional Ladakhi lunch.
In the evening, experience a camel ride on the Hunder Sand Dunes, known for their Bactrian (double-humped) camels. Watch the sunset over the dunes, a mesmerizing sight as the landscape changes colors. Dinner & overnight stay in a camp or guesthouse in Hunder.
From Hunder Sand dunes to Pangong's Shores: A Journey of Contrasts!
After Breakfast, depart early for Pangong Lake. Drive via Shyok River or Wari La Pass (depending on road conditions). In the afternoon arrive at Pangong Lake. Enjoy the breathtaking views and take a leisurely stroll along the lake's shores. Later in the evening watch the sunset over the lake. Dinner & overnight stay in a camp or guesthouse near Pangong Lake.
Return to Leh: Reliving the Serenity of Pangong Lake!
Wakeup in the morning and enjoy the sunrise at Pangong Lake. After breakfast, start the journey back to Leh. En route, visit the Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. After reaching Leh take some rest and then explore Leh city in the free time.
Spiritual Sojourn: Discover the Mystique of Leh’s Monasteries:
After breakfast, visit famous places in Leh Hemis, Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, Stok Museum and Rancho school. Time to visit the places is between 9:00 AM till 5:00 PM
Experience the Heights: Leh-Kargil Return Journey:
After breakfast, depart from Leh early in the morning. Stop at Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. After reaching Kargil, Check-in at the hotel. Explore local markets or relax.
Kargil to Srinagar: Where the Mountains Meet the Lakes:
After breakfast, depart from Kargil, on the way enjoy scenic views of the Zojila Pass and the picturesque landscapes as you drive. Arrive in Srinagar and check-in at your hotel or houseboat. Later a Shikara ride on Dal Lake, where you can visit the floating vegetable gardens. While riding the Shikara there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc. Dinner and overnight in houseboat.
Farewell to the City of Lakes and Timeless Beauty:
After breakfast, travel to Srinagar airport to board your flight. Go back home with some happy memories from the trip.
