Hidden over high passes in an arid, largely treeless rain shadow, Ladakh is classic Trans Himalayan scenery: substantial khaki-coloured valleys and harsh rock walls brought alive by the occasional splash of irrigated green. Traditional Tibetan Buddhist culture remains intact here, with spectacularly located monasteries that burst into life during medieval masked dance festivals that have changed little in 500 years. There’s a bit of everything for travellers – epic treks, sparkling high-altitude mountain lakes and a well-developed backpacker infrastructure based around the capital, Leh.
Welcome to Leh: Your Gateway to the Majestic Himalayas!
Arrival at Leh Airport (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport): The airport is small but well-equipped and then transfer to the hotel or guesthouse, Spend the day resting and acclimatizing to the high altitude, as Leh is situated at around 3,500 meters (11,500 feet). Later in the evening, visit Local Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa if time permit. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/guesthouse in Leh.
Spiritual Sojourn: Discover the Mystique of Leh’s Monasteries:
After breakfast, visit famous places in Leh Hemis, Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, Stok Museum and Rancho school. Time to visit the places is between 9:00 AM till 5:00 PM
Crossing Horizons: From Leh to the Enchanting Nubra Valley:
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla pass (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Straight drive to Turtuk village for a full day sightseeing, newly introduced for tourists in Leh where you can enjoy camel Safari in Sand Dunes with the famous Double Humped Bacterian Camel safari in Hunder and then. Later Overnight in Organic Camping at Hunder Village.
Explore the Desert Wonders: Hunder to Diskit and Back to Leh:
After Breakfast drive and explore Diskit, There’s a beautiful Monastery here, visit Dalai-Lama House. Later drive back to Nubra Valley by same Route, crossing Hunder. Dinner and Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Nubra.
From Nubra's Sands to Pangong's Shores: A Journey of Contrasts!
After Breakfast, depart early for Pangong Lake. Drive via Shyok River or Wari La Pass (depending on road conditions). In the afternoon arrive at Pangong Lake. Enjoy the breathtaking views and take a leisurely stroll along the lake's shores. Later in the evening watch the sunset over the lake. Dinner & overnight stay in a camp or guesthouse near Pangong Lake.
Return to Leh: Reliving the Serenity of Pangong Lake!
Wakeup in the morning and enjoy the sunrise at Pangong Lake. After breakfast, start the journey back to Leh. En route, visit the Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. After reaching Leh take some rest and then explore Leh city in the free time.

After Breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey.
