On arrival at Srinagar, you will meet our representative at the airport and transfer to Deluxe Houseboat/ Hotel. Afternoon Visit famous Mughal Gardens (Nishat, Shalimar Cheshma Shahi) & Shankaracharaya Temple) & Old and New Srinagar city, overnight stay at Houseboat/Hotel.

Drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg, Where Majestic Landscapes Await:

After breakfast we will drive to the majestic mountain resort of Sonamarg. The route towards Sonamarg takes us on a picturesque country side drive where we will come across rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams and blooming rice fields. We will zoom past the town of Kangan which handles all the local needs of this region. From Kangan, we will drive towards Mammar, famous for its trout farm and stopover for a warm cup of tea before we head towards Sonamarg. We will once again alight from our vehicles at the tourist spot of Gagangir. The spot is built in the middle of the river Sindh and looks like an island with snow glaciers covering one or the other spot. After reaching to Sonamarg, will set up tents for overnight stay, after that you can have walk around the Sonamarg.​

From Sonamarg to Nichnai via Shekdur, Where Adventure Meets Serenity:

Today will be first day of this enthralling Kashmir short trek! After having breakfast at the campsite, start with a 3-4 km trek from the Sonamarg. Here onwards, the trek will be a gradual one and alongside the Sindh River, it will take you through maple and pine forests. Completing the hike through the forests, you will be rewarded with the stunning views of the Sonamarg Valley and pictorial streams.

Here onwards, the trek will descend down and will take you to the snow-covered Shekdur Range. Relax around the vicinity for a while before you start trekking towards the Nichnai, which is located at around 3300m above the sea level. Upon arrival in Nichnai, check-in into the campsite; dinner and overnight stay in the camp.

Journey to Serenity: Trek from Nichnai to the Tranquil Beauty of Vishansar Lake:

​Day Details Starting early in the morning; around 08:00 AM, start the trek towards the Nichnai Pass and enjoy the stunning views of the lush valleys and the untouched beauty of the region. Hereafter, cross the river and continue hiking through the banks of the river and arrive at the Nichnai Pass or the Vishansar Berry. Arriving at the pass, which is located 3850m  above the sea level, witness and enjoy the meticulous beauty of the pass and the snow-covered peaks all around it.

Hereafter, the trek will undergo a steep descend and will lead you to a pictorial meadow of colorful flowers; while on this trek, you can also catch glimpses of a cascade that finally joins a river. Here onwards, continue with the hike and upon arriving a flat valley, continue towards its end and arrive at the campsite. Gazing on the left of this trail, you can also behold captivating views of the Himalayan Range and also the Vishansar Lake (3500m); overnight stay in the camp.

Embrace the High Altitude: Acclimatize in the Majestic Serenity of Vishansar and Krishansar Lakes:

This day of the Lakes in Kashmir Trek would be a light one as you acclimatize yourself to the weather and rest at Vishansar and visit to Krishansar Lake, also you will experience throat fishing in Lake; overnight stay in the camp.

Return to Serenity: Trek from Vishansar to Sonamarg, Where Every Step Celebrates the Journey:

On your final day of the Kashmir Short Trek, start from the Vishansar camp, ramble on grassy land dotted with yellow flowers and pine forest. Descend and reach Sonamarg, the last leg of your trek. Reach Sonamarg Village in Ganderbal District. Be driven back to Srinagar and unwind in houseboat/hotel for the night.
